Crews tackle forest fire near Lewisporte
Personnel and a water bomber were dispatched to a forest fire Woolfrey’s Pond in Lewisporte on Thursday.
The fire is deemed under control.
The fire broke out in the afternoon.
Most areas of Central Newfoundland are at a moderate or high risk of forest fires.
