CRA employees vote to strike

The union representing Canada Revenue Employees has announced that members have voted overwhelmingly in favour of taking strike action.

The 35,000 employees will be in a legal strike position on April 14.

A final round of negotiations has been set for April 17 to April 20 between PSAC and the Canada Revenue Agency.

Employees have been working without a contract for more than a year. Chris Aylward, PSAC national president said “Workers can’t wait, and we’re ready to show this government we won’t let workers fall behind.”
