COVID-19 Cases Spike in Newfoundland & Labrador



As of this afternoon, there are 4 confirmed cases and 20 presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador.


938 people have been tested. Of those individuals who have been tested, 914 have been confirmed negative.


Ball said that some people who have not self-isolated will be hearing from the police and added that those people are "being completely irresponsible and putting people's lives at risk."


New measures include no more than 10 people at a gathering. Only two passengers are permitted in a taxi.


Spas, esthetic and hair salons, must close.


Restaurants are permitted to provide take-out or delivery only.
