Corner Brook RNC Make Second Arrest For Violating Self-Quarantine Rule

Early this morning RNC in Corner Brook received a complaint that a female was failing to self-isolate and in violation of a Special Measures Order under the Public Health Protection and Promotion Act in the Curling area of Corner Brook.

Police arrived in the area of Woodbine Avenue and located the accused walking up the street and was arrested without incident.

As a result of an investigation, a 53-year-old female has been charged with Failing to abide by a Special Measures Order under the Public Health Protection and Promotion Act and two counts of breaching a Release Order.

She remains in custody at the Corner Brook Detention Centre.

The RNC did not specifically say if it was the same woman arrested earlier this week, but this person was released from custody on Wednesday.
