Corner Brook RNC charges drunk driver


On Sunday evening the RNC conducted a traffic stop on Elizabeth Street in Corner Brook.


The 47-year-old female driver was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and impaired operation over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.


As a result, her driver’s license was immediately suspended for 7 days followed by a 90-day suspension and the vehicle was seized and impounded for 30 days.


The accused was released from custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
