Corner Brook man charged after assault and disturbance at West Street business

On Saturday evening the RNC was called to a report of a male causing a disturbance at a business on West Street in Corner Brook. On arrival, police located the male a short distance away.

The 43-year-old man was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance and breach of probation.

Four minutes later police received a report of an assault that had just taken place in a parking lot nearby.

The suspect was the same 43-year-old male from the previous incident.

He was subsequently further charged with assault and breach of probation in relation to this incident and was held to appear in court this morning.
