The RNC have charged two drivers and seized four vehicles in the Corner Brook Region over the past 24 hours.

On Thursday, around 2:20 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Griffin Drive that resulted in a 24-year-old being charged with impaired driving. He had his driver’s license suspended, and the vehicle seized. The driver was released to appear in court at a later date.

Just before noon, a traffic stop near Western Memorial Hospital resulted in the ticketing and vehicle seizure of a 47-year-old suspended driver from Corner Brook. Shortly thereafter, officers seized a third vehicle on Tenth Avenue in Pasadena for which the 43-year-old from Deer Lake was issued tickets for suspended driving-related offences.

A fourth vehicle was seized on Humber Road just before 1 p.m., after the driver fled from a traffic stop after having already been identified by officers. The vehicle was located.
