An Army Cadet from 2590 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps in Corner Brook, Nathan Simbajon, spent their summer jumping into the unknown during the four-week Basic Parachutist Course at Trenton Cadet Training Centre in Trenton, Ontario.

Following a rigorous and competitive selection process, including intensive fitness testing and medical screening, Simbajon was just one of 48 cadets from across Canada selected for the course this summer.

During the course, “I hope to learn unforgettable experiences and improve my dress, deportment, and physical ability,” said Simbajon.

Simbajon joined cadets five years ago. “I would like to go to Royal Military College of Canada after I graduate, along with becoming the best leader I can possibly be for my Corps and the Cadet Program.”
