Contract Awarded to Replace Culverts on Avalon Peninsula #nltraffic

There will be some ongoing construction to replace and rehabilitate five culverts on the Trans-Canada Highway between Whitbourne and St. John’s this highway construction season.

Edward Collins Contracting was awarded the $1.6 million contract.

The work to be completed includes replacing culverts on the highway near Trout Pond and Finnies Pond and rehabilitating three culverts in the area.

Anyone travelling in the area should anticipate some traffic delays while work is ongoing.
