Construction to start tomorrow on roundabout at Portugal Cove Road, Major’s Path and Airport Heights Drive

The construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Portugal Cove Road, Major’s Path and Airport Heights Drive is slated to commence on Monday.

Traffic will continue to move through the area during construction, but there will be disruptions. On Portugal Cove Road, one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction at all times. One lane will remain open in each direction of Major’s Path and Airport Heights Drive during peak traffic hours. At other times, traffic may be reduced to one shared lane for both directions.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during construction.

Work is expected to continue until the end of 2026.
