NL Health Services says the Community Walk-in Clinic and Newcomer Health Clinic in St. John’s will temporarily relocate to 850 Topsail Road beginning June 1.

The clinics are currently operating at 50 Mundy Pond Road. The temporary move is being made to accommodate renovations at the Mundy Pond Road site.

NL Health Services said the clinics will operate out of the space designated for the future Urgent Care Centre (west) while renovations are underway.

The Community Walk-in Clinic will maintain its regular operating hours of Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patients can continue to check clinic availability by calling 709-777-0800 or texting 1-877-709-2005.

Patients of the Newcomer Health Clinic will be contacted directly about appointments and reminded of the location change. The clinic can still be reached by phone at 709-752-4174 or by text at 1-877-709-4011. NL Health Services said the Newcomer Health Clinic will return to 50 Mundy Pond Road once renovations are complete.

Signage will be posted at both locations to notify patients of the change. The clinics will continue operating at the current site until the new location opens on June 1.

NL Health Services also noted there is free parking available at the Topsail Road site, and additional information on public transit routes can be found through Metrobus.

The health authority added that information regarding the opening date of the Urgent Care Centre (west) at 850 Topsail Road will be shared once finalized. The St. John’s West/Mount Pearl Family Care Team, which also operates at the site, will not be affected by the relocation.
