Collision involving transport truck slows traffic on TCH near Galway interchange on Tuesday evening

A collision involving a transport truck is slowing traffic on the Trans Canada Highway near Galway Interchange this evening.

Emergency crews responded to the area, just before 6:30 p.m. Firefighters arrived a short time later, to found a tractor trailer in the westbound lanes, while a significantly damaged sedan sat in the middle of the right lane, also in the westbound lanes.

At this time, westbound lanes were down to one lane with slow moving traffic. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the incident, but it appeared that it may have not been any serious injuries.
