City threatens legal action over workplace investigation report

The City of St. John’s is insisting that they did not make a report public earlier this week that highlighted the internal investigation into alleged workplace harassment. The City also says it does not consent to its release or any publication or reporting on it.

As a result, a cease and desist on any reporting, commenting on, or publication of the report or any portion of the report was issued. St. John's Sports and Entertainment will consider legal action should any more reporting, commenting, or publication occur.

In a statement, St. John's Sports and Entertainment says, "SJSEL is notifying employees involved in the investigation at the time and will provide whatever supports necessary to prevent further harm from occurring."
