Canadians Could Get More Paid sick Days

The Federal Government is moving forward on talks with the provinces and territories to endure that every worker in Canada can get 10 days of paid sick leave a year.

The NDP had been pushing for more assistance for Canadians to have access to more paid sick days.

As the country re-opens, and with the upcoming flu season, there is expected to be a lot of Canadians taking sick time.

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh said, "Every worker should have access to paid sick leave we will continue to push the government to deliver for all Canadians & to work with provinces to make paid sick leave permanent so that no one needs to make the impossible choice between going to work sick or paying their bills."
