Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure raises more than $15 million

On Sunday the 33rd annual CIBC Run for the Cure took place across Canada.

This year over $15 million was raised for those affected by breast cancer.

Funds raised are invested in research and compassionate support programs that provide care, comfort, and connection to those living with breast cancer.

In 2024, it is estimated that over 30,800 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer with 1 in 8 women expected to be diagnosed in their lifetime.
