Camping Season Extended at Six Provincial Parks

The Provincial Government has announced that campers and day users will have the opportunity to extend their camping and outdoor recreation plans into the fall season.

Six Provincial Parks will remain open until Monday, October 12, for camping and day-use:

• Barachois Pond

• Butter Pot

• Dildo Run

• Lockston Path

• Notre Dame

• Sandbanks

Seasonal campers are asked to call the Provincial Parks Division at 709-637-2040 to advise if they wish to extend their stay.

A public advisory on the fall launch of the campsite reservation service will be issued prior to September 10.
