By-election Date Announced for Vacant St. John's Council Seat

The by-election for the vacant Ward 2 seat on St. John's City Council will take place on October 20th.

Mayor Danny Breen made the announcement during this week's council meeting.

Nominations open on September 15th and close on September 22.

The seat was left vacant when Hope Jamieson resigned to take a new position with a national housing organization.
