A 44-year-old man is facing multiple traffic-related charges after Burgeo RCMP responded to reports of a suspended driver operating an uninsured vehicle.
Police say the incident occurred on May 25 at approximately 5:00 p.m., after officers received reports from concerned members of the public about a driver believed to be operating a vehicle while suspended and uninsured.
RCMP located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, officers confirmed the driver was operating with a suspended licence. Police also determined the vehicle was uninsured and unregistered.
In addition, RCMP say the man had more than $20,000 in outstanding fines.
