Brush fire in Argentia Line area under control

RCMP says the brush fire near Argentia Line is under control.

Officers with the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture remain at the scene but access to the public is no longer restricted and police have cleared from the scene.

The RCMP in Placentia is asking the public to stay away from the Argentia Line area of Placentia Junction.

Crews are responding to a brush fire in the area.

The forest fire risk is very high in the area.
