Bruce Chaulk has been reinstated
Bruce Chaulk has been reinstated to his position of Chief Electoral Officer after an independent review has concluded.
On June 28, Bruce Chaulk was suspended from his role as Chief Electoral Officer and Commissioner for Legislative Standards. The suspension was in effect until an independent review of the findings of the Citizens’ Representative was completed.
The Commission also recommended that Ann Chafe, acting Commissioner for Legislative Standards, continue until her outstanding reports have been submitted to the Speaker.
Other matters raised in the report will be dealt with by the Management Commission as appropriate.
The Lieutenant-Governor in Council has issued the Orders in Council to revoke the suspension of Chaulk effective immediately.
