Break-ins at two metro businesses overnight

Two separate businesses were broken into in the metro area overnight.

At 2:22 am police responded to an alarm at a business on Kelsey Drive in St. John's. Police confirmed a break-and-enter had taken place. The incident is under investigation.

At 3:50 am there was an alarm report at a business on Merchant Drive in Mount Pearl. Officers arrived and confirmed a break-and-enter had taken place. This incident is also under investigation.
