Break-in to vehicle compound in Carbonear

The RCMP is searching for those responsible for mischief to multiple vehicles in Carbonear.

On Boxing Day around 9:00 pm, police responded to Hickman Motors on Columbus Drive in Carbonear, after staff discovered damage caused to multiple vehicles being stored on the lot.

Several vehicles were damaged. Some had smashed out windows, others were found with their hoods up and some vehicle parts were stolen.

Police Dog Services attended the scene and assisted with a search of the area. Police believe that the suspect or suspects may have been operating an ATV.

Police ask residents with dash cams and surrounding businesses with surveillance cameras to check their footage for anything that may be of assistance.
