Break and Enter at Marystown Mall


RCMP on the Burin Peninsula are asking for the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect accused of a break and enter into businesses at Marystown Mall.

In the early morning hours of Thursday morning a suspect, who was fully disguised, forced entry into several businesses within the Marystown Mall.

Jasmine Jewellers, the Chamber of Commerce Office, Chalky’s Billiards, and the Lotto Kiosk were all entered.

The businesses were damaged.

Thousands of dollars worth of jewellery was stolen from Jasmine Jewellers and a number of lottery tickets were stolen from the Lotto Kiosk.

The investigation is continuing.
