Body found off coast is missing coast guard employee

On October 19, off the coast of Newfoundland, a body was recovered by a private vessel. A medical examiner confirmed that it was the Canadian Coast Guard employee who was reported missing at sea on September 16.

The cause of the incident remains undetermined.

An investigation is underway.
