Body discovered on beach in Cow Head

The RCMP is investigating the discovery of a body on Shallow Bay beach in Cow Head.

Police from the Rocky Harbour RCMP received the report of a body found on the Shallow Bay beach in Cow Head. Police secured the scene and engaged the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The investigation has determined that the deceased is from out of province and may have been diving in the area.

No evidence has suggested foul play.
