Big jump at the pumps expected tonight

Dan McTeague is predicting a big jump at the pumps this week.

Gasoline prices are predicted to increase by 7.7 cents per litre and diesel prices are expected to jump by 5.4 cents. This increase would put gasoline up to about 1.70 per litre on the Avalon Peninsula.

The Public Utilities Board will adjust the prices at midnight.

Brent Crude Oil is at $83.31 per barrel.
