Bay Roberts opens Newfoundland Tulip Festival

On Saturday the Town of Bay Roberts opened the Newfoundland Tulip Festival.

There will be live entertainment in the gardens today from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm to entertain guests who come to see the tulips.

The town has a collection of 28,000 tulips and counting. In the opening ceremony on Saturday the town also unveiled a new community piano.

The festival concludes today.
