Bail hearing scheduled today for Tyler Julian Day

A bail hearing is scheduled for today in provincial court for Tyler Julian Day.

Day is charged with impaired operation causing bodily harm after a six-year-old boy died from injuries sustained in a vehicle-pedestrian collision.

The collision happened on July 23 at the intersection of Thorburn Road and Larkhall Street in St. John's. Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary's Operational Patrol Services and Accident Investigation responded to the scene, where a child had been struck by a vehicle.
