Baie Verte-Green Bay By-Election Date Announced

Acting Chief Electoral Officer Travis Wooley issued an election writ to the Returning Officer for the District of Baie Verte-Green Bay. The by-election will take place on Monday, May 27.

The Advance Poll is on Tuesday, May 21. The deadline for Candidate Nominations is Monday, May 6.

Electors are encouraged to visit the Elections Newfoundland and Labrador website for information pertaining to voting qualifications, Election Day voting locations, Advance Poll locations, Special Ballot voting, and more.

The Liberal Party and Progressive Party have candidates in place so far.
