At least one person was taken to Hospital following a two-vehicle collision in St. John’s on Sunday

Emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Topsail Road and Columbus Drive just before 3:00 p.m. today for reports of a traffic collision involving two vehicles.

When crews arrived, two vehicles had sustained significant damage. At least one person was taken to hospital following the collision. It is unknown what the extent of the injuries are at this time.

Traffic traveling east on Topsail road towards Columbus Drive was forced to turn left to go onto Columbus Drive, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
