At least one person was sent to hospital on thanksgiving day following a two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in Bay Bulls.
At around 2:50 p.m. on Monday volunteer firefighters with the Witless Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded to the intersection of Cemetery Lane East and Main Road (Route 10) in the community of Bay Bulls.
Crews arrived to find a motorcycle had collided into a sedan causing moderate damage to the vehicle and damage to the motorcycle.
At least one person was treated and then placed on a stretcher and put aboard a Newfoundland Health Service ambulance and was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The Road between Foodland and Cemetery Lane East was closed for about a hour as police investigated the crash and waited for a tow truck to arrive.
