At least one person taken to hospital following a collision on Thursday night in St. John’s

Just before 6:15 p.m. on November 27th, 2025 emergency services responded to reports of a collision at the intersection of Thorburn Road and Seaborn Street, in St. John’s.

Upon arrival, there was a three-vehicle involved in the collision involving a tow truck, SUV and a Minivan, which caused all three vehicles to suffer moderate to significant damage. An officer with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Collision Reconstructionist Team also attended the scene.

Traffic in the area was disrupted for quite some time as emergency services worked to clear the scene and assess the people involved in the collision.

As a result of the collision, at least one person was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
