ArtsNL announces Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Award winners

ArtsNL hosted the 39th annual Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Awards show Friday evening at the Bay Bulls Regional Lifestyle Centre. Six awards honouring the accomplishments of Newfoundland and Labrador’s artists were presented.

The winners are:

• Patron of the Arts Award: Rachel Gilbert

• Emerging Artist Award: Ting Ting Chen

• Arts in Education Award: Susan Furneaux

• Hall of Honour Award: Kent Jones

• Artist Achievement Award: Cheryl Hickman

• Artist of the Year Award: Deantha Edmunds
