Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development Paul Pike has announced applications for the 2025-26 Seniors’ Social Inclusion Initiative.

The Seniors’ Social Inclusion Initiative supports seniors’ and senior-serving organizations across the province to organize and promote activities and programs that support social inclusion, healthy aging, mental wellness, and overall well-being.

In 2025-26, grants are available in the amount of $1,000. To be eligible, applicants must be based in Newfoundland and Labrador, and funding must be used for projects in this province. Be a not-for-profit organization that serves seniors and older adults, and applications from individuals, for-profit organizations and organizations that are not focused on serving seniors will not be considered.

If incorporated, applicants must be in good standing with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s registry of companies, and if not incorporated, provide a letter of support as outlined in the program guidelines.

The deadline to apply is June 2.
