There are still multiple weather alerts in effect across Newfoundland and Labrador this morning. Most areas of western Newfoundland is still seeing snow. That snow will transition to rain later today. Central sections and the Avalon are seeing freezing rain. That freezing rain will also change to rain today. In Labrador, blizzard conditions are continuing along coastal areas. The exception is on the southern Avalon where roads are bare and wet with a few slushy sections. Travel is not recommended along much of the west coast and north coast. In Labrador most roads are snow-covered.
