Another COVID-19 Death Reported Plus 4 New Cases

Today the province has reported another death from COVID-19 and four new cases.

A male in the Eastern Health region, who was over the age of 70, has died.

The four new confirmed cases are located in the Eastern Health region and one is between 20-39 years of age and three are between 40-49 years of age.

Contact tracing by Public Health officials is underway. Anyone considered a close contact has been advised to quarantine.

There are no new or outstanding presumptive positive cases.

There are 271 active cases of COVID-19.

There are 10 people in the hospital. Of these patients, six are in intensive care.

So far, 111,741 people have been tested.
