Another Conservative MP joins the Liberal Party

The MP for Sarnia—Lambton—Bkejwanong, Marilyn Gladu, has crossed the floor to join the Liberal Party.

Gladu has been the Conservative Member of Parliament for Sarnia—Lambton since 2015. She was elected to the House of Commons in the 2015 Canadian federal election.

In a statement, Gladu said, "That is why I have decided to join Prime Minister Mark Carney and Canada’s new government as the newest member of his caucus. It is a privilege to have served as your Member of Parliament for more than a decade, and I have made a choice to do the best thing for our community’s priorities, and importantly, for our country."
