Fuel prices are up once again due to recent changes in market commodity prices.

Gas is up another 2.4 cents per litre. Gas on the Avalon is now at 168.8 cents per litre.

On the Island, diesel motor fuel increased by up to 6.7 cents and diesel motor fuel in western Labrador went up 7.2 cents.

Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island increased by 5.83 cents. Stove oil heating fuel in western areas of Labrador increased by 6.21 cents.

The Board’s next regularly scheduled price adjustment is on Friday, March 20, 2026. There is currently a significant amount of volatility in the market commodity prices used to calculate maximum prices. The Board is monitoring changes in these market prices closely, and extraordinary adjustments to the Board’s maximum prices are possible in the coming days.
