Air France Flight Makes Emergency Landing in St. John's #YYT

Air France flight AF498 made an emergency landing at St. John's International Airport late this afternoon after a medical emergency on the flight.

The flight originated at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France and was headed to St. Maarten.

Passengers had to leave the Airbus A330-200 and will spend the night in St. John's. All passengers were screened for COVID-19 and will be confined to their hotel rooms.

The flight is scheduled to depart tomorrow morning.
