Abandoned building destroyed by fire in CBS

Emergency crews responded to a late-night fire on Wednesday after reports of a possible structure fire in the Conception Bay South area.

At approximately 10:13 p.m., the RNC and firefighters from the CBS Fire Department arrived on scene. Upon arrival, responders discovered an abandoned building fully engulfed in flames.

Police secured the area as firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control. No injuries were reported.

The scene is currently being held for examination by RNC fire investigators, who are expected to conduct a full investigation into the cause of the fire this morning.
