A wet start to the week across the province

Most of the Island portion of the province is seeing rain this morning, and that will be order of the day for most areas.

Rain is expected today across most of Newfoundland. On the Northern Peninsula and the west coast, 5 mm is expected. 5 to 15 mm of rain will fall in Port aux Basques. Central areas will see 2 to 4 mm. There is a chance of showers this afternoon for the Burin Peninsula. Highs from 13 to 25 are expected.

In western Labrador, 2 to 4 mm of rain is expected. Happy Valley-Goose Bay will see 5 mm. There is a chance of showers in southeastern areas. Nain will see a mix of sun and cloud. Temperatures will range from 13 to 17.
