A wet start to the week across the province

It will be a wet start to the week across the province. Today, we are looking at rain for all of Newfoundland, except on the Northern Peninsula, where rain and snow are expected. Winds will also increase this afternoon.

Rainfall amounts of 5 to 15 mm are expected, except on the southwest coast, where amounts will be higher. Highs will range from 4 to 10 across the Island.

Snow is expected for central Labrador with 5 cm expected. Elsewhere, light snow is in the forecast with about 2 cm expected. Lows from minus 10 to plus 1 are expected.
