This morning there are a few isolated showers moving across the Island portion of the province. It will be a wet day for some areas of Newfoundland.

Along the west coast of the Island, rain is expected today. Port aux Basques will receive 20 to 30 mm of rain along with winds gusting between 60 and 100 km/h. In Corner Brook, rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 mm are expected. Port Saunders will receive 2 to 4 mm, and 2 mm is expected in St. Anthony. Sun and cloud will prevail elsewhere across Newfoundland, with a chance of showers for the south coast, central and the Avalon. Highs between 16 and 23 are expected.

There is a chance of showers across Labrador, with temperatures ranging from 16 to 26.
