A rainy day for eastern Newfoundland

A low over eastern Newfoundland will bring rain to the Avalon and Burin Peninsulas today. Rainfall amounts today and tonight will range from 15 to 30 mm. Locally higher amounts are possible.

Across central and western Newfoundland expect a mix of sun and cloud. There could be a few showers in central and on the southwest coast.

In Labrador, there will be a few isolated showers.

It will be cooler than yesterday with high temperatures ranging from 12 to 19 across the province.
