A home Sustained Significant Fire Damage in St. John’s on Tuesday

Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department were called to a house fire on Valleyview Road in St. John’s at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

As firefighters arrived, the structure on the right side was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire before it could advance to other parts of the home.

Residents who were home at the time of the fire reported hearing a loud bang while they were eating supper, prompting them to look out the window and see flames.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the blaze. The structure did sustain significant fire damage. The residents of the home were displaced as a result of the fire.
