A collision between a school bus and SUV results in no serious injuries in Mount Pearl, Thursday afternoon

A school bus and an SUV collided in Mount Pearl on Thursday afternoon, with no serious injuries reported.

Emergency crews swiftly responded to the incident on Ruth Avenue near Lindbergh Crescent, opposite Mount Pearl Senior High School, around 2:20 p.m.

Thankfully, all occupants involved in the collision were unharmed. The collision led to the closure of eastbound lanes on Ruth Avenue for about ninety minutes, diverting traffic onto Lindbergh Crescent.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Highways also investigated the collision's cause at the scene.
