8 New Cases of COVID-19 & Update on Schools

There are 8 new cases of COVID-19 in NL.

143 cases are linked to the Caul’s cluster. There are now 183 cases in total. 11 are in hospital, 4 are in ICU, and 10 have recovered. 2929 people have been tested so far.

Dr. Fitzgerald says "we are at the beginning" of COVID-19.

Premier Ball says that K-9 students will move on this year. Premier Ball says that no student will be disadvantaged. Minister Warr says public exams this year are cancelled.

Schools are working on online learning platforms.

Minister Haggie stresses that 911 is for emergencies only. He also mentioned that social distancing saves lives.
