65 New School Employees to be Hired

The Provincial Government will hire 25 more guidance counsellors, 25 extra custodians and 15 new school administrators to ease the back to school transition.

More personal protective equipment will also be purchased.

The announcement comes after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that the provinces will be provided $2 billion to assist in reopening.

Of those funds, this province will receive two installments of $13 million.

School is set to reopen on September 8th.
