6 year old injured after incident on Buckmaster’s Circle

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating a motor vehicle collision, which occurred yesterday in St. John’s.


At 5:55 p.m. a black Dodge Ram being operated in the Lemarchant Road area of St. John’s failed to stop as a patrol officer attempted to conduct a traffic safety stop. The vehicle continued until it entered the area of Buckmaster’s Circle where the vehicle collided with a house.


A 6-year-old boy was injured as a result of the collision and was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released. There were no other injuries reported.


The investigation into the collision is ongoing with RNC’s accident investigators, and they are seeking any witnesses or video footage related to the collision. Specifically, officers are seeking video footage in the area of Lemarchant Road, St. Clare Avenue, Rickett’s Road and Buckmaster’s Circle around the time of the collision event.
