5 New Cases of COVID-19 on Saturday

On Saturday there were fice new cases of COVID-19. All five cases were located in the Western Health region. Four were related to the cluster and one case is under investigation.

There were 14 new recoveries leaving are 71 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. There are 11 cases in Eastern Health, 25 in Central Health, and 35 in Western Health.

There are two people in hospital due to COVID-19.

So far, 149,930 people have been tested.

The investigation into the cluster of cases in the Central Health region is ongoing. The source of infection remains under investigation.

The cases reported Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 28 in the Central Health region remain under investigation. The cases reported Thursday, May 27, Thursday, June 3 and Friday, June 4 in the Western Health region remain under investigation.
